FCTL is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Food Concepts and was established to deliver on the group’s trading, logistics and supply chain needs. This as part of our backward and forward integration strategies.

2010 saw the beginning of what we believe will be great things to come. Already, FCTL has begun to import Ganic Premium Quality Rice from Thailand, which was sold to our Chicken Republic outlets, as well as, to the external market. In addition, FCTL also imported frozen French fries from Maestro in Belgium. The quality of both products was well received and we look forward to considerable growth as we venture into other FMCG products like oil, sugar and canned produce in the near future.

Given the skills and infrastructure of FCTL, in 2010 the division was entrusted with the responsibility of clearing over 100 containers belonging to Free Range Farms and this was seamlessly executed.
