Subsidiaries
Food Concepts Plc is structured to include various divisions that operate our brands, as well as, four wholly-owned subsidiaries that support the company’s backward and forward integration strategies.
- Our Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) Division is responsible for our Chicken Republic, Pizza Republic and Scoops brands both in Nigeria and Ghana
- The Mass Market Products Division operates our Butterfield Bakery Business. In years to come, it will also expand its operations to cover other grain-based confectionary products for mass market consumption.
- Bar Concepts oversees Reeds, which is our fine dining Thai Fusion Restaurant & Lounge. This division will also be charged with the future development and roll-out of additional upscale themed restaurant concepts.
- In addition, we also have a fully-fledged supply chain division, which coordinates all operational support functions including procurement, logistics and inventory management.
The company’s four wholly owned subsidiaries include:
Free Range Farms Limited
This is engaged in the business of poultry farming, processing, sales and distribution. Its main objective is to farm and process chicken for our Chicken Republic stores. In time it will also supply other third parties as well.
FCCP Properties Limited
FCCP is focussed on driving the acquisition and development of sites for the use of our various businesses. In addition, it is also responsible for the on-going management of our properties to ensure value retention over time.
FC Central Processing
This subsidiary is responsible for the development and operation of our back-end businesses, which include our central kitchen and premix plants.
FC Trading & Logistics Limited
This is the trading arm of the group. Its objectives are to import goods for consumption, both to fulfil the needs of our own brands and to meet external demand.
