Food Concepts recently joined the Givefood.ng coalition of partners who are working to dramatically scale by simplifying the process for individuals and groups that want to provide food and nourishment to Nigeria’s vulnerable communities.
Food Concepts involvement in this programme is twofold.
First, via the provision of affordable value meals designed to assist Givefood.ng to achieve their target of distributing 1,000,000 meals per week.
Second, via the introduction of a special Citizens Meals4Meals campaign, under the banner of our Chicken Republic brand. This campaign was specifically designed to enlist the support of society by encouraging our brand community to buy a meal to give a meal to a child in need. During the months of May and June 2020 Chicken Republic agreed to donate N100 for every Citizens meal (valued at N1,350) that customers bought online. To date this has resulted in Givefood.ng providing meals to over 700 Nigerian children.
